The Boathouse
Scattered along the coastlines of Norway, traditional boathouses are a kind reminder of a time when the sea was our main provider. Ours sits just a short walk from the hotel, at the edge of the Storfjord – restored and reimagined as a dining room unlike any other.
Every Friday throughout the year, and from Thursday to Saturday in summer, you can secure your spot at the long table. The menu is crafted to honour the fjord nature and open sea, inspired by seasonal greens and the catch of the day.
Due to limited seats, reservations are highly recommended.

There is a short car transfer from Storfjord to The Boathouse, approx 5 minutes. If you prefer to walk, you can follow the path from the hotel. Just make sure to wear appropriate footwear.
The open fire is the heart of The Boathouse, and all servings for the evening’s dinner are prepared over the flames. This may add some smoke in the room, which can linger on clothing. We recommend keeping this in mind when choosing your outfit for the evening.
We can comfortably seat 12 people around the long table, making The Boathouse an intimate dining experience.
